Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was decent with easy access to public transport and the breakfast offered a variety of options, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. Additionally, the room amenities were not as advertised, particularly with the Wi-Fi and TV issues. Given the price, I felt it was a bit overpriced for what was provided.
The guesthouse has a lovely location in a pretty part of Edinburgh, making it convenient for exploring the area. However, my experience was marred by poor wifi connectivity and some uncomfortable features within the room. Additionally, while breakfast options were decent, I faced hygiene concerns during my stay that were quite unsettling.
While the hotel has some redeeming qualities such as free parking and decent breakfast options, the overall experience was marred by issues with cleanliness and decor that felt outdated. The location was somewhat convenient, though reaching the city center required some effort. For the price, it seemed like we could have found something better elsewhere.
The guest house offered a decent experience with easy access to public transport and a comfortable dining space. However, the state of the rooms was disappointing, and the service could use improvement, particularly in terms of attention to cleanliness and responsiveness to issues.
I had a pleasant stay at this guest house during the Edinburgh Fringe. The staff were kind and helpful, and I really appreciated the great value it offered considering the distance from the city center. Although the room needed some updates, it was comfortable enough for our short trip. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the convenience of bus access made our daily trips to the city hassle-free.
